Back to School Information-September 2020

Dear Ten-Broeck Families,

It is crazy to be talking about September, but as we know, time has a way of sneaking up on us!  More information pertaining to the first week will be shared as soon as we know more from the Ministry of Education and the School District. Please refer to the letter that Dr. Godden emailed out to all families on June 25th for some further details about school start up. We continue to await direction from the Ministry of Education as to what stage we will be in come September. Please note that the Toti:ltcha - Future Learning Plan referenced in Dr. Godden’s letter is based on the assumption that we will be starting in Stage 3 as we have been in June. If all indicators of the virus look to be under control by September, it’s possible that the government will ask us to move to Stage 2. Stage 2 would mean that all K-5 students would be back in school 100% of the time. But again, we just don’t know yet. As information becomes available, we will be sure to pass it along to our Ten-Broeck community.

That said, this is what September 2020 may look like:

Students who are entering Kindergarten will attend their appointment time with one of our teachers from our Kindergarten Team!  (appointment times are being sent to you at the beginning of July 2020 - please keep it in a safe spot).

For  grades 1 - 5 students, the first day is typically a half day that ends at 11:15am. Please be sure to arrange to pick up your children! Wednesday through Friday will be full school days.  Please DO NOT bring any school supplies to school in that first week.

Students who are new to Ten Broeck will gather in the gym and will be assigned to a class on the first day.

There are two ways to place your order:

You can place your order online at .  Visa & MasterCard are accepted. Place your order online in June and you will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $1000 cash draw!  When using e-commerce sites, please ensure your browser is Internet Explorer 10.0 or later, Firefox or Chrome.
Late orders will be accepted on-line until October 1, 2020. (A $5.00 late fee will be applied after August 1, 2020).  Please note that after October 1, 2020, you can call the office to place your order.

The supplies will be packaged and delivered directly to your home in August. Please make sure to pre label your child's supplies in advance of coming to school.
